With much excitement and anticipation, the family headed out to see ?The Odd Life of Timothy Green? and we weren?t disappointed.
?The Odd Life of Timothy Green? is the story of Cindy and Jim Green, a couple who would have have done everything they can to have a child. ?Finding out that they can never have children they decide to celebrate the life of the child they would never have. ?However, a miracle happens in their garden one night as Timothy appears, just for them and he is everything they hoped and dreamed for in a child, but they learn that they had a lot to learn about being parents.
What are the best things about ?The Odd Life of Timothy Green?? This movie is real, even with the magic of a child growing in a garden. ?It is heartfelt, touching, believable and full of laughs. ?No matter what the age of the audience member you will see your aunt, uncle, grandmother, grandfather, child, niece, nephew, sister and friend. ?You will see people you know and love and recognize not only them, but your own life too.
I don?t want to give too much away, but I admit that before the movie my oldest daughter and I were guessing how the movie may end. ?While an excepted ending, it was definitely not predictable, but then again not much about the movie was.
Jennifer Garner (Cindy Green) was amazing, for anyone who has experienced difficulties having children you will see your experiences and pain in her performance.
Joel Edgarton (Jim Green) was the dad you hope to have for your children as he made all the same mistakes that many father makes, and cares for the woman he loves.
C.J. Adams ?(Timothy Green) was bright, engaging, charming and you can?t help but fall under his spell.
Other favorites included Dianne Wiest, M. Emmet Walsh, and David Morse.
Timothy seemed ?odd? and if he was odd, then I don?t want normal anymore. ?His ability to bring the best to any person or event, from scoring the winning goal, for the other team to encouraging mom, dad and even a whole town into looking beyond the normal to make their lives better was truly a miracle and one that was much needed by them all.
You can make a difference in someone?s life when you attend ?The Odd Life of Timothy Green? by taking a brand new pair of socks to donate when you see the movie. ?It may seem a little ?odd? but it can do so much good.
Enjoy?some of our favorite parts . . .
